Halloween

alloween was definitely a bigger thing here than in home-Finland but everybody knows that. Still I was at the same time happy and sad to notice some people couldn't care less about it. Anyway we decided to celebrate it once we are here in the US.

I was lucky to have my friend Rike helping me doing my makeup/hair. I have to admit it felt good to sit there being maked up. I was a lucky boy before that day too when I was allowed to help girls to find costumes for them. And girls costumes here, they are.. well you'll see.

I designed my costume by myself. Even though many people, including hilarious drag queens in the subway, named me a mime but I prefered to call it just "White". I was very proud of my halloween costume but at some point of the evening I got a bit irritated in the everlasting conversation:
"Are you a mime?"
"No."
"You talked! Mimes don't talk!" :D

Evening started for me with a costume rehearsal in my dancing school which was fun. We danced, eat threats and laughed for each others costumes. Best ones were definitely Bows "Blueman" and Anthonys "Pikachu". Unfortunately I don't have pictures of those. After that I went to the Downtown just to see the Halloween buzz. People there were really like "ellun kanat" like we would say in Finland :D It was so funny. And on one point I ended up to be filmed in TV. I can't wait till it comes out!

My guide to everyone who are planning to visit NYC some Halloween and go clubbing: buy your tickets two months earlier and go to the club early. Every place had a HUGE line and tickets from the door climbed up to the prices 75$. That's just madness! But again, we were so lucky. We wondered a huge line in the 8th avenue that blogged all the way and went to the middle of the line just to ask what was it for. The guy had 3 extra tickets and sold them to us for 30$ each and asked us to come there to line with him. So 45$ saved and half of the lining time. It was a shame that the club wasn't good at all. I don't know what's up with these yankees but I haven't got used to the "sex on the dancefloor".

After all it was a all right Halloween. Thanks Rike, Sherin and Kay!
